An in-depth exploration of Patola, a heritage weaving tradition of Gujarat, shaped this project. Through on‑ground research in Rajkot and surrounding areas, I studied the intricate motifs, techniques, and cultural significance of the craft. The outcome was a series of scarves and stoles, designed with a contemporary lens while honoring traditional patterns.

The project involved meticulously designing a craft document that captures the essence of Patola — from its history and technique to its visual language. The final pieces were brought to life in a rural setting, styled and photographed to highlight their artisanal beauty, heritage context, and timeless appeal.
